Hi. I’m Jenn.
Books and stories have been my favorite for as long as I can remember. I spent my childhood amongst BFFs like Laura Ingalls Wilder, Nancy Drew, and The Babysitters Club, and while my literary tastes have matured (slightly) over time, I still love nothing better than a good story.
I have a degree in journalism from The University of Tennessee and have spent the past 14 years working with non-profits, companies, small business owners, and entrepreneurs to communicate effectively, persuasively, and informatively. In addition to my freelance work, I also serve as the content director for Coffee + Crumbs, a collaborative blog about motherhood, and I co-host The Medium Talk Podcast with my friends Anna and Colleen.
I’m a lifelong Nashvillian, which means I don’t sing or own a pair of cowboy boots. I like jelly on my biscuits and my favorite vegetable is fried okra. Small talk makes me sweaty, so I skip over things like the weather or the latest movie in favor of getting folks talking about the things and people they love because there’s always a story there.
